Telehealth startup Done’s top leadership arrested on fraud charges

The CEO and clinical president of a closely watched telehealth startup prescribing the ADHD medication Adderall online have been arrested and charged with fraud, the Justice Department announced Thursday.

Done founder Ruthia He and clinical president David Brody were arrested in Los Angeles and San Rafael, Calif., respectively. They were charged with allegedly taking part in a scheme to distribute controlled substances online and submitting false and fraudulent reimbursement claims for stimulant prescriptions.

The company, known for ubiquitous social media ads boasting treatment for ADHD, charges $79-a-month memberships following an initial $119 charge for fast assessments and online appointments with “worry-free” refills.
