Christine Kao

Photo Editor Assistant

Christine Kao is the photo editor assistant at STAT. Currently a fourth-year design media arts student at UCLA, she grew up in the middle-west of Taiwan. Christine found her passion for journalism while working as a staff photographer for UCLA’s student newspaper, Daily Bruin. Prior to joining STAT in 2022, Christine nurtured her visual communication skills as a graphic designer for UCLA Athletics. She enjoys telling stories through photojournalism and bookmaking. In her free time, she enjoys exploring coffee shops and handwriting postcards
