Megan Molteni is a science writer for STAT, covering genomic medicine, neuroscience, and reproductive tech. Prior to joining STAT in 2021, she was a staff writer at WIRED. Her feature on the collision of aerosol science and Covid-19 public healthy policy received the 2021 AAAS Kavli Science Journalism Award for magazine writing. Her work has also appeared in Popular Science, Discover, Undark, and Aeon. Megan received a B.A. in biology from Carleton College and a master's of journalism from the University of California, Berkeley.
